The 2nd International T.L. Saaty Decision Making Hackathon 2024 is a dynamic and immersive part of the 22nd International Conference on ECONOMICS – FINANCE - MANAGEMENT (ICEFM2024) “Balancing Contemporary Challenges with Innovability”. This challenge-driven event empowers participants to explore the concept of Innovability by addressing real-world business dilemmas and societal issues.

What is the process?

Teams of 3-4 students are invited to participate in the Hackathon. All the teams will start by learning how to model decision problems and how to collect and combine data and judgmnents. Solutions will be presented in the span of this 3-day online hackathon event.

Teams will be presented with business cases by our business partners. The teams will need to come up with a creative and well-thought-out analytic decision process to be used for solving one of the case problems. The models will be constructed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process method and the software tools learned during the training.

The teams will present their solutions online to a panel of experts and the winning teams will be invited to elaborate their solutions and present their work online to the ICEFM2024 conference attendees.
