Using an AHP model with 5 levels criteria (selecting the best project; factors, for example, economic; sub criteria for each factor; stakeholders; and the project alternatives), the team was able to choose the best project based on the most important factor (ecological). The model indicated that the best project was “avoiding the overproduction of salts”. This project consists of using a demand estimator tool (Holt-Winter) with the objective of only producing what the demand requires. By doing this, Wieliczka could reduce costs, have a better ecological performance and many more benefits. This project doesn’t require much material nor money use, which makes it very efficient.

Climate and ecological crisis are significant problems all around the globe. We may not see the full spectrum of them yet, but unless we react now, we will contribute to the irreversible changes which will change our lives forever. The team created new ecological projects that had system monitoring using a B-O-C-R model and showed that by making ecological changes and raising awareness may have an impact on our future.
The team presented a solution for public transport connections that would increase the participation of people using a B-O-C-R model.
