Creative Decisions Foundation Events
Training
Dr. Rokou will introduce multi criteria decision making focusing on the Analytic Hierarchy Process. You will learn how to combine tangibles and intangibles in a decision making model and be shown how to decide when to pairwise compare and when to rate the alternatives. You will practice modeling complex systems by evaluating Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, and Risks.
We will then introduce Python programming language so you can learn how to use this tool to develop AHP models. The resulting models can be used by a single decision maker or a group of decision makers. With Python you can deploy questionnaires to collect data and use them to calculate results to support the decision.
Dr. Elena Rokou is the Chief Research Officer at Creative Decisions Foundation, the AHP/ANP research institute funded by Dr Thomas Saaty. She holds a PhD degree in the field of operational research, focusing on project scheduling and evolutionary algorithms from the National Technical University of Athens, Mechanical Engineering School, Sector of Industrial Management and Operational Research, a MSc in Management Engineering and a Software Engineering Diploma. Her main research interests cover project scheduling, optimization, evolutionary algorithms, MCDA and decision support tools.
Dr. Minutolo will focus on applications of AHP and how you take the AHP method and bring it into the strategic management and operations of a company. He will show you how to move from theory to practice.
