This is chapter 2 of the book - The Unknown: What to Do About It This chapter deals with the following ideas: -Augmenting a hierarchic or network structure of a decision at different levels and several times as the need may be with a hypothetical element or criterion called “other” to help the expert who may be unsure of his structure to attribute influence to what may have been left out of the model that is unknown -Illustrating and testing the stability of a decision with respect to the “other”
